Beatles: fool on the hill

The Beatles: Fool on the Hill

This music video represents in many a way the drug fueled era or the 60's, as of the distance stares through the camera and the prancing fool on the hill. The lyrics of this song seem to portray someone who is not understood by others even though he is a wise wise man. Paul McCartney said "the song relates to someone like Maharishi Mahesh Yogi" who was a wise old man, who was not understood by others and thought to be bonkers. This shows that no matter how different and unusual the song may be there might still be a deep meaning to it.

This song was dedicated to John Lennon and brought out along side the Magical mystery tour album, the video was shot in France somewhere outside Nimes. The song itself it very simple yet the tune backs it relaxing and effective.
